MOPS Current Newsletter

MOPS provides mothers of preschoolers with the relationships and resources they need to be the best moms they can be.  MOPS is dedicated to the message that “mothering matters,” and that moms of young children need encouragement during these critical early years.  MOPS helps mothers find friendship and acceptance, provides opportunities to develop and practice leadership skills, and promotes spiritual growth,”  (From MOPS’ Handbook).

FBCN MOPS meets from 9:30 a.m.-12:00 noon the second and fourth Friday of every month from September to May.  Each meeting provides an inviting environment where women can come—just as they are—to build friendships, be encouraged and gain practical parenting strategies.

MOPPETS is the child care provided for MOPS’ children, ages infants – Pre K. Older homeschooled children will be cared for also. Mom's attending for the first time must register their children by calling Lee Haugan, 729-6912 or email preschool2@fbcniceville.org.  Space is limited.
